The Surgery Center of Fairfield County was established in 1985 as an outpatient surgery center. This facility is commonly known as an ambulatory surgery facility. SCFC moved to its current location in suburban Trumbull in 2013. We are located in a beautiful, medical building in a convenient location. Modern medical advances have made it possible for patients to have surgical procedures at our facility and return home safely the same day. SCFC was developed by physicians to offer a safe, high-quality, lower cost surgical experience. An ASC is an alternative to a hospital. Over 60% of all surgery is performed in an outpatient setting like this one. We specialize in giving care in a warm and friendly setting. This affordable and convenient alternative to utilizing the hospital has earned us a reputation as the region’s center of excellence for outpatient surgery.
